Kwame Mickey Accuses Team Eternity Of Song Theft

USA-based Ghanaian music and film producer, Kwame Mickey, has accused Team Eternity of song theft.

In a Facebook live that Zionfelix.net came across, Mickey asked the Ghanaian Gospel Music Group to do the needful.

He claimed they used a portion of a song he owned the copyright without seeking permission.

Kwame explained that the beginning of their song, ‘Defe Defe,’ contains a song for which he owns the copyright.

He detailed that the original song was written by Osuani Afrifa and was given to Halleluyah Voices to sing.

Kwame indicated that he bought it from them—and he has all the documents.

However, the music producer clarified that Osuani Afrifa owns the intellectual property as a composer.

Kwame Mickey said Team Eternity should have done the right thing by contacting him before using that portion.

As Christian brothers, he wants them to do the right thing. Adding that, he won’t stretch them much if they finally do what is right.

Kwame Mickey further acknowledged that Team Eternity’s song is nice.
